An Waray Partylist was one of the very firsts to have doled out relief (hinabang) to the fire victims of Sto. Niño Ext. Tacloban CIty. Far from the eyes of media sensationalism, the partylist delivered what the people truly needed then: love, care and the warm thought of concern more than everything else.

i remember dale …
i remember dale saying, on our way back to Tacloban from a medical mission in Jinamok Island, that his travels with the An Waray Family in its various community projects made him fully understand the hues and colors of our society.
To be idealistic is a good cause and to seek for change is indeed noble but to do sincere voluntary work is like embracing a stranger for comfort amidst his grief.
