Why does it feel like no-one plays the harmonica anymore ?

It’s becoming a dying art.

I just got Sonny Boy Williamson’s anthology album Good Morning Little School Girl.

I’m learning to play blues harmonica. It’s a really easy instrument to play but very difficult to master.

No bad thing. I hate the harmonica. Especially in pop. Not so bad in blues, but still not great.

I’ve been playing for the past 10-15 years and have introduced my daughter the wonderful world of blues harp – it’s a great instrument, light, portable and great for banging out a tune ;)

I love it and actually just picked mine back up to give it another try (got flustered with it about eight years ago when I tried to learn) …
I play by ear so it’s just a question of familiarizing myself with the instrument itself.

    Good call!
