I also need to figure out the origin of the melody and text for both the upper and lower voices.

I am working on homework for my music history class, and I can’t find this in the text book, and I can’t figure it out from listening to the piece. It is 1:04 on my CD anthology.
The CD Anthology is A History of Western Music in Western Culture Volume 1, second edition. It is track 28 on CD 1. It is edited by Mark Evan Bonds.

Sorry, this isn’t enough info for me. If you told us the name of the CD anthology that might help…
