There are three Anthology CDs (the beatles) which were released after their breakup. My question is do these three albums combined feature every single Beatles’ song in a three volume edition or something? (basically, what was the purpose of these albums?)
It was 3 part set with a total of 6 CD’s in it.
There were two "unreleased/new’"songs. They were Real Love and Free As A bird.
As for the rest, they were mostly first takes, out-takes, and never before heard recordings from their career. A must have for any Beatles fan.

The anthologies is kinda a whole spectrum of what they were about. They are a very good collection.
They include some interviews and generally show their progression as a band.
I believe you can get their Discography, which is their complete works.
You can ind it on some p2 p sites!
