Love the Anthology book by the Beatles and "The Love You Make by Peter Brown

The Beatles " A Diary" by Barry Miles and "The Beatles-Recording Sessions" By Mark Lewisohn are invaluable Reference guides that any Beatles fanatic should give a looksy to

But today I wanted to spotlight a book I love by Keith Badman called
"After The Break-up 1970-2000"
an amazing day by day account of the daily activities of the Ex-Beatles

I do love the anthology!
My cousin and i were looking through it at all the pictures once and we just happened to innocently turn to the page that show’s John and Yoko’s "Two Virgins" cover picture. :-|
Anyway, that and i did get a book that i lost ( :-( ), i don’t remember what it was called but it just had different "chapters" that were like categories, and facts for each one, separated by little submarines! It has a cute cover, too!
And "Beatles 365"

The only Beatles related book I own or have read is one of John’s, In His Own Write. It’s different (to say the least), but fun.

There’s a great biography on them by a guy named Spitz. I forgot what his first name is, but you should probably be able to find it based on that info. It chronicles all four Beatles from birth until the breakup of the band in 1970. I think there are also some footnotes in there about John Lennon and George Harrison’s deaths, as the book was written in 2004.

Also, I love the Lennon biography by Ray Coleman. It’s a little biased since Coleman was one of John’s close personal friends as well as a journalist, but you can really feel Coleman’s love and admiration for him in his writing, so it reads more like a novel than a biography. I’m going to check out the ones you recommended!!

My favourite is ‘Revolution In The Head’ by Ian Macdonald. A song by song analysis of every recording.
I guarantee you will never listen to The Beatles in the same way!

I’ve always been a fan of The Beatles, especially George.

The Holy Bible-sized biography by Bob Spitz is very nicely done.

I also recommend Cynthia Lennon’s memoirs. John’s In His Own Write is cute and funny, though it would have gone out-of-print decades ago if it wasn’t written by a Beatle. lol

The Private John Lennon, The Untold Story By his Sister by Julia Baird was really good, it wasn’t about the beatles, but more like before they became the beatles and I think Paul was in it too, really quite sad actually. And I read The White Book by Ken Mansfield, ehh, it wasn’t too bad, a couple funny stories about the beatles, I liked the pictures the best.

The Anthology is a great one.
also Here, There, Everywhere which is like what the authors think are the 100 best songs, and they give a lot of facts & interesting things about each song like who played on it and more.

Also I like I, Me, Mine by George Harrison

Another good one is Yeah Yeah Yeah!
It tells the story of them before they were Beatles and their early years and stuff. Very informative :D
