Where can I find/purchase an advanced, true-to-the- recording piano sheet music for Kei’s Song?

I purchased both the David Benoit Anthology and the Dan Coates Complete Advanced Piano Solos; both versions of David Benoit’s "Kei’s Song" are absolutely mediocre. Also, both of these versions are only two pages while the song is actually much much longer.

Does anyone know where to find an advanced sheet music for Kei’s Song, something that sounds like the song David Benoit is actually playing in his CD’s? Thanks so much for any help!

I did some checking and the books you have are the ONLY arrangements in print anywhere so you can stop looking.

The problem here is that they almost NEVER put out a transcription that is true to the recording especially orchestra versions. They are always ’special’ arrangements made by the publishers that control the copyrights. The artists have to sign off on them so they are usually close but not bang on unless it actually says recorded version or transcription. This is especially true for movie scores. There is a lot of speculation on why the actual true scores as recorded are never available but who really knows why. I’ve talked with the publisher reps and they don’t seem to know why either.

One thing I can suggest however is the Stagepass toolbar. I have it and it’s great as it has all the sheet music download sites in one place and the best bookstores, gear places even great places to buy stage clothes. I love it. Oh and it has all the mp3 download sites too. Check it out.

Check out this great web site I found. It’s a free MP3 and other audio format search engine.

It allows you to download AND to listen to any song out there.
