It’s a Short Work in an Anthology. I need to now how I would cite it in an essay.
I know to do the parantheses after quoting the author, but what do I put in them? Here’s the info I have:
"Women." Latin America, History and Culture: An Encyclopedia for Students. Ed.
Barbara A. Tenenbaum. Vol. 4. New York: Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1999.
207-11. Print.
I’m using a citiation on page 207, then 209-211.
Help please!
Thanks =D
It’s very easy: just state the information that you’re providing from this book, followed by the author’s name and the page number in parentheses, then put the period for the sentence at the end. BecauseTenenbaum is the editor of this book, use Tenenbaum’s name as the author. It’ll look something like this:
Belize’s cultural diversity has long made it popular with people around the world (Tenenbaum 207). Since 2002, the resort industry has been the predominant source of revenue for Belize (Tenenbaum 209-211).
If you get stuck for MLA styles, try this website: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/02/
I hope that helps! Good luck!
