What is a CREATIVE poem theme for a poetry anthology I have to do for English?

I have to find 5 poems that all have the same theme, but it can’t be a super easy theme to do like love, seasons etc. I wanted to do the afterlife or something but I couldn’t find enough poems :(

The answer by "Lady" is good too. But you may want to go here: http://bahai-library.com/personal_poetry_afterlife_spiritual and if you skip the boring essay parts, they actually have some good poems on After-life.

Why not go with "Love" as a general theme. But introduce different types of love… romantic love, courtly love, brotherly love, love for your country, love for an object, religious love, etc. Use "love" and find poems from different time periods that express different types of love.

    Poems you could use…

Realistic love: Shakespearean sonnets (168 and 130)
    Unrealistic, idealistic love: Wyatt, Surrey
Love for your spouse: Anne Bradstreet
Love for religion: John Donne, Anne Bradstreet, John Milton
    Love for yourself: Walt Whitman
Love for an object: A lot of Poe poems
Sexual love: To His Coy Mistress by Marvell, some Shakespearean sonnets

    etc.

Use a dreams theme or death, ghosts, mystery. Look at poems from here: http://home.comcast.net/~pherring139/Volume6/Vol6_idx.html
