Poetry anthology. (need key words to do with poetry to put in glossary of key words)?
hi, i am doing a poetry anthology for English. I have completed it all apart from one thing. I have to complete the glossary of key words. So i am asking you guys for some key words to do with poetry =] e.g. onomatopoeia, adjectives stuff like that .
i am giving 10 points for the person who gives me the most words!

thanks

well, being an ‘English’ anthology, you will of course have to begin by mentioning the iambic pentameter, the rhythm of english speech. Rhyme of course, but these days mention the word assonance (half-rhyme)
metaphor, sibilance, adjectives, fricatives, onomatopoeia, synecdoche, simile, tercet, couplet, blank verse, free verse, epithalamium, elegy, syntax, love, denotation, connotation, kinesthesic. That should be a start.

My friend is Paul Stubbs an English poet with 2 published books called the Theological Museum and The Icon Maker.. If you need any more advice then just ask.
